Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Dayslot: the apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch with their widgets, a Dayslot account and the services on dayslot.app. We wrote them to be short and fair. Deutsche Fassung unten.

1. Who we are

Dayslot is made by Guillermo Neugebauer — Applicure (sole trader), Oskar Helmer Gasse 24, 2474 Gattendorf, Austria, VAT ID ATU67626401 (“we”). Contact: hello@dayslot.app. More in the imprint.

2. What Dayslot is

  • Dayslot is a to-do and reminders app that works with your calendars. You can use it without an account; with an account, your lists sync between your devices and you can share them.
  • If you connect Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook or Apple Calendar, Dayslot reads and, when you ask, changes your calendar through that provider. Their own terms apply to their services. Dayslot is not affiliated with Apple, Google or Microsoft.
  • We keep improving Dayslot, so features may change. We won’t take away a substantial part of what you paid for during a paid period without a valid reason, and we’ll tell you in advance.

3. Your account

  • You need to be at least 14 years old to create an account. Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself.
  • You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account). This deletes your data on our servers as described in the privacy policy.

4. Dayslot Pro and purchases

  • Dayslot is free to use. Dayslot Pro is an optional subscription. You buy it through Apple’s App Store; Apple is the seller and handles payment, renewals, cancellation and refunds.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device). A free trial turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends. Prices are shown in the App Store before you buy.
  • For refunds, use reportaproblem.apple.com. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.
  • For apps you get from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies. These terms add to it; where they differ, the more favourable rule for you applies.
  • Pro you receive as a gift or through a Dayslot Team seat lasts as long as the gift or the seat.

5. Your content

  • Your lists, to-dos, notes and everything else you put into Dayslot remain yours. You allow us to store, process and transmit them only as far as needed to run Dayslot for you: syncing, sharing with the people you choose, reminders and the features you use, such as AI features.
  • When you share a list or a workspace, its members can see and change what is in it according to their role.
  • Keep your own copies of anything important. Dayslot works offline and keeps your data on your devices as well.

6. Acceptable use

Please don’t:

  • use Dayslot for anything illegal, or to store or share content that violates other people’s rights;
  • send spam or unwanted invitations through sharing, invitations or Email to Dayslot;
  • attack, overload or probe our servers, get around limits or access controls, or access other people’s data;
  • copy or decompile the apps except as far as the law allows, or automate access to our services in ways the apps don’t.

If someone seriously or repeatedly breaks these rules, we may suspend or close their account, after a warning where that is reasonable.

7. AI features

Some Pro features use AI to suggest to-dos, durations or steps. Suggestions can be wrong, so check them before you rely on them. Fair-use limits apply. What is sent and to whom is described in the privacy policy.

8. Availability

We work to keep Dayslot reliable, but we can’t promise that sync and other online services are always available or free of errors, for example during maintenance. The apps keep working offline. If we ever discontinue an online service, we’ll tell you at least 30 days in advance and give you a way to export your data.

9. Liability

  • We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and for personal injury.
  • For slight negligence we are not liable, except for personal injury.
  • Mandatory statutory rights, in particular under the Austrian Consumer Protection Act (KSchG), the warranty rules for digital services and the Product Liability Act, remain unaffected.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we’ll tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you don’t agree, you can stop using Dayslot and delete your account; a running subscription can be cancelled through Apple.

11. Law and disputes

  • Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
  • If you are a consumer, you can bring a claim in the courts where you live or in Austria; we can sue you only where you live.
  • We are not obliged to take part in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration body and generally don’t. Please write to us first: hello@dayslot.app.

Both language versions are equally valid; if they differ, the German version prevails.

Diese Bedingungen gelten, wenn du Dayslot nutzt: die Apps für iPhone, iPad, Mac und Apple Watch samt Widgets, ein Dayslot-Account und die Dienste auf dayslot.app. Wir haben sie kurz und fair gehalten.

1. Wer wir sind

2. Was Dayslot ist

  • Dayslot ist eine App für To-dos und Erinnerungen, die mit deinen Kalendern zusammenarbeitet. Du kannst sie ohne Account nutzen; mit Account werden deine Listen zwischen deinen Geräten synchronisiert und du kannst sie teilen.
  • Wenn du Google Kalender, Microsoft Outlook oder Apple Kalender verbindest, liest Dayslot deinen Kalender über diesen Anbieter und ändert ihn, wenn du es willst. Für deren Dienste gelten deren eigene Bedingungen. Dayslot steht in keiner Verbindung zu Apple, Google oder Microsoft.
  • Wir entwickeln Dayslot weiter, daher können sich Funktionen ändern. Während eines bezahlten Zeitraums nehmen wir dir keinen wesentlichen Teil dessen, wofür du bezahlt hast, ohne triftigen Grund weg, und wir sagen es dir vorher.

3. Dein Account

  • Für einen Account musst du mindestens 14 Jahre alt sein. Gib eine echte E-Mail-Adresse an und behalte dein Passwort für dich.
  • Du kannst deinen Account jederzeit in der App löschen (Einstellungen → Account → Account löschen). Damit werden deine Daten auf unseren Servern gelöscht, wie in der Datenschutzerklärung beschrieben.

4. Dayslot Pro und Käufe

  • Dayslot ist kostenlos nutzbar. Dayslot Pro ist ein optionales Abo. Du kaufst es über Apples App Store; Apple ist der Verkäufer und kümmert sich um Zahlung, Verlängerung, Kündigung und Erstattungen.
  • Abos verlängern sich automatisch, außer du schaltest die automatische Verlängerung spätestens 24 Stunden vor Ende des laufenden Zeitraums aus (auf deinem Gerät unter Einstellungen → dein Name → Abonnements). Ein Gratis-Testzeitraum geht in ein bezahltes Abo über, wenn du nicht vor seinem Ende kündigst. Die Preise siehst du vor dem Kauf im App Store.
  • Erstattungen beantragst du unter reportaproblem.apple.com. Deine gesetzlichen Rechte als Verbraucher:in bleiben unberührt.
  • Für Apps aus dem App Store gilt Apples Endbenutzer-Lizenzvertrag für lizenzierte Apps. Diese Bedingungen ergänzen ihn; wo sie abweichen, gilt die für dich günstigere Regel.
  • Pro, das du geschenkt oder über einen Platz in Dayslot Team bekommst, gilt so lange wie das Geschenk oder der Platz.

5. Deine Inhalte

  • Deine Listen, To-dos, Notizen und alles andere, was du in Dayslot einträgst, gehören dir. Du erlaubst uns, sie zu speichern, zu verarbeiten und zu übertragen, aber nur soweit es nötig ist, um Dayslot für dich zu betreiben: Synchronisation, Teilen mit den Personen, die du auswählst, Erinnerungen und die Funktionen, die du nutzt, etwa KI-Funktionen.
  • Wenn du eine Liste oder einen Arbeitsbereich teilst, können die Mitglieder je nach Rolle sehen und ändern, was darin steht.
  • Bewahre Wichtiges auch selbst auf. Dayslot funktioniert offline und hält deine Daten auch auf deinen Geräten.

6. Faire Nutzung

Bitte nicht:

  • Dayslot für Rechtswidriges nutzen oder Inhalte speichern oder teilen, die Rechte anderer verletzen;
  • Spam oder unerwünschte Einladungen über Teilen, Einladungen oder E-Mail an Dayslot verschicken;
  • unsere Server angreifen, überlasten oder ausforschen, Limits oder Zugriffsschranken umgehen oder auf Daten anderer zugreifen;
  • die Apps kopieren oder dekompilieren, soweit das Gesetz es nicht erlaubt, oder unsere Dienste auf eine Weise automatisiert nutzen, wie es die Apps nicht tun.

Wer schwer oder wiederholt gegen diese Regeln verstößt, dessen Account können wir sperren oder schließen, wenn zumutbar nach einer Warnung.

7. KI-Funktionen

Einige Pro-Funktionen schlagen mit KI To-dos, Dauern oder Schritte vor. Vorschläge können falsch sein; prüfe sie, bevor du dich darauf verlässt. Es gelten faire Nutzungsgrenzen. Was an wen geschickt wird, steht in der Datenschutzerklärung.

8. Verfügbarkeit

Wir arbeiten daran, dass Dayslot zuverlässig läuft, können aber nicht versprechen, dass Synchronisation und andere Online-Dienste immer und fehlerfrei verfügbar sind, etwa während Wartungsarbeiten. Die Apps funktionieren auch offline. Sollten wir einen Online-Dienst einstellen, sagen wir es dir mindestens 30 Tage vorher und geben dir eine Möglichkeit, deine Daten zu exportieren.

9. Haftung

  • Für Schäden, die wir vorsätzlich oder grob fahrlässig verursachen, und für Personenschäden haften wir unbeschränkt.
  • Bei leichter Fahrlässigkeit haften wir nicht, außer für Personenschäden.
  • Zwingende gesetzliche Rechte, insbesondere nach dem Konsumentenschutzgesetz (KSchG), dem Gewährleistungsrecht für digitale Leistungen und dem Produkthaftungsgesetz, bleiben unberührt.

10. Änderungen dieser Bedingungen

Ändern wir diese Bedingungen in einer Weise, die für dich wichtig ist, sagen wir es dir in der App oder per E-Mail mindestens 30 Tage bevor die Änderung wirksam wird. Bist du nicht einverstanden, kannst du Dayslot nicht mehr nutzen und deinen Account löschen; ein laufendes Abo kannst du über Apple kündigen.

11. Recht und Streitigkeiten

  • Es gilt österreichisches Recht unter Ausschluss der Verweisungsnormen und des UN-Kaufrechts. Als Verbraucher:in behältst du den Schutz der zwingenden Bestimmungen des Landes, in dem du lebst.
  • Als Verbraucher:in kannst du an deinem Wohnsitz oder in Österreich klagen; wir können dich nur an deinem Wohnsitz klagen.
  • Zur Teilnahme an einem Streitbeilegungsverfahren vor einer Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle sind wir nicht verpflichtet und grundsätzlich nicht bereit. Schreib uns bitte zuerst: hello@dayslot.app.
