Changelog
What’s new in Dayslot.
What changed in each test build of Dayslot, in plain words. Dayslot is in testing on TestFlight; version 0.1 will be the first on the App Store and the Mac App Store.
-
iPhone Duo, help, several calendar accounts, your own look
New
- iPhone Duo: the iPad layout or two panes when it’s open, “Now” on top as a tabletop, the iPhone layout with a side rail when it’s closed.
- A help centre in the app, and a way to send feedback.
- Search on the Mac: ⌘K or ⌘F opens one search over to-dos, lists, events and quick actions.
- Several calendar accounts: any number of Google and Microsoft accounts together (the first one is free, more with Pro).
- On the Mac: full menus, a Settings window, keyboard navigation in lists, and an optional menu bar item with quick add and what’s next.
Improved
- Built for iOS 27 and macOS 27.
- Make it yours: accent colours, light or dark, Home and sidebar layout, start screen, week start and time-block length. Three extra app icons come with Pro.
- The welcome tour can be swiped page by page. Swiping never asks for a permission or starts a purchase.
-
Outlook and Microsoft 365 calendars
New
- Connect an Outlook, Outlook.com or Microsoft 365 calendar, next to Google and Apple Calendar: events, invitations and time blocks work the same way.
-
A calmer rhythm everywhere
Improved
- One consistent rhythm of margins, headings, sizes and type on every screen, on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
- Sheets and forms share one layout and button sizes; the colour picker is an even grid.
- Large text sizes: nothing breaks inside a word, and the iPad and Mac sidebar gets wider.
Fixed
- The notification card no longer covers the + at the bottom of the screen.
-
A new welcome, three ways to see your day, Team Week
New
- A first-run tour: what you use Dayslot for, your calendars, importing from Reminders, an account, notifications and Pro.
- Today’s calendar block in three styles: Timeline, Cards and Next up, with a Join button for video calls.
- Team pilot: a Team Week board with busy/free availability, comments with @mentions, a For me inbox, export and an audit log.
- Account emails and invitations now come from Dayslot and open the app directly.
- Create, edit, move and resize calendar events (Pro).
- Break it down, Find a time and Meeting notes to to-dos (Pro); learned durations; taking turns in shared lists.
Improved
- Toolbars are plain glyphs with one accent +, without borders or shadows.
Fixed
- A blank screen at launch after using the share extension or a widget.
-
