Introducing Dayslot
Tasks live in one app, time lives in another, and you are the bridge. Dayslot is a calm to-do app that puts the two together, on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
Dayslot started with a small, daily annoyance. To-dos lived in Apple Reminders, meetings lived in a Google calendar, and the only thing connecting them was copying: a to-do that needed real time got typed into the calendar by hand, and an invitation that arrived by email had to be remembered as a to-do. The two apps didn’t know about each other. The person using them was the bridge.
A to-do app first, with your calendar built in
Dayslot is a to-do app. You organise to-dos in your own lists, with headings, checklists, repeats and deadlines, and share a list with your household or team when you need to. What’s different is that your calendar sits right next to it. Today shows your meetings above your to-dos, any to-do can get its own slot in the day, and invitations can be answered where you see them.
Dayslot is a client of the calendars you already have: Google, Outlook and Apple Calendar. It doesn’t replace them or ask you to move.
Calm on purpose
A to-do app is something you open twenty times a day, so it should feel quiet. Dayslot uses lots of white space, one accent colour, and small chips instead of badges. There are no streaks to protect and no scores to beat. Things you didn’t get to wait for a decision instead of piling up silently.
Write it the way you’d say it
Typing “Call tax advisor tomorrow 9am #Work” gives you a to-do in Work, tomorrow at nine, with a reminder a quarter of an hour before. Dayslot shows what it understood before saving, in English, German, French, Spanish and Italian. You can also just say it; voice runs on your device.
iPhone, iPad and Mac, equally
Dayslot isn’t a phone app on a bigger screen. iPad gets a sidebar, a list and an inspector side by side. The Mac gets a real window with menus and shortcuts and a week board you can drag to-dos across. Apple Watch and widgets keep the day within a glance. One purchase covers all of them.
Free, with an optional Pro
Dayslot is free to use for as long as you like: unlimited to-dos and lists, quick add, voice, one calendar account plus Apple Calendar, widgets and sync. Dayslot Pro adds AI help, time blocking, reviews and sharing, for €4.99 a month or €44.99 a year, with 14 days free.
Where we are
Dayslot is in testing now and will come to the App Store and the Mac App Store. Android and Windows are planned to follow. The changelog shows what changes in each build.
